It's gonna come out eventually, so whatever. Me and some other mediocre humans were basically being tortured forever. Every time I figured it out, the demon would reset our brains so we'd have no memory of it. Forever. It wasn't working out for anyone, because I kept figuring out his stupid scheme, so he tried to change things up. And well, I thought this would be better than eternal torture. Turns out it's not great!
